We are very excited to announce the upcoming class, Introduction to Foreshore & Underwater Archaeology! This will be taught by our very own David Thompson.
The class dates are June 1 & 2, 2019 and will be held at the CMM (Chicago Maritime Museum) from 9am-5pm. The cost to attend is $125 for each student.
Some of our group have been able to take similar NAS (Nautical Archaeology Society) courses in the past, but a lot of us are new to the research methods and eager to learn!
Being a certified diver is NOT required.
We have 10 spots available and we will give priority to members of UASC and Mudwater Archaeology Society of Peoria.
After that, it will be opened up to others in our Archaeology community.
